By the time it's released they'll change the title to 'The Geriatric India Jones's last fling'
Please folks...don't complain so much; just be glad there's gonna be another Jones movie; it will be a huge plus in my presbyopic eyes if Sean Connery co-stars.
Twenty-six years between the first movie and the fourth one. I don't think the NAZIs were in power that long, so who's he going to battle in this episode? Joe McCarthy? Mao Ze Tung? Kruschev?
Indiana Jones aged at 64... hmmmm... I like Harrison Ford but he will be needing a lot of stuntmen to do the jumps and kicks for him... I wonder who will be his nemesis this time around. Given Indiana Jones age, Hugh Hefner may be suitable with him popping viagra pills during the takes to energize himself...
who said that the period of the film would take place after the last crusade adventure?
Good point.....rumour has it that the next film finishes off where the first one started....in the amazon jungle. Perhaps Indy finds the Lost City of Gold or the key to Atlantis?
If they want to make this movie a hit, then pencil out Sean Connery.
The plot of the movie should focus on Indiana' Jones kid.
A 20 year old something kid following in his dad's footsteps.
No one is going to pay to see two old men (Harrison Ford and Sean Connery) on the widescreen together for two hours.
People will pay to see the next generation Indiana Jones character, his son.
Hollywood has to find the right actor to play Indiana Jones kid.
The plot of the movie is easy to make.
It would be 18 years after 1938, his last adventure.
That would take us to the year 1956.
The plot could be about discovering artifacts from a ancient civilzation that really built the Great Sphinx or the Pyramids in Egypt
Or discovering a crashed UFO and fighting the U.S. government to bring it to the publics knowledge.
A lot of great plots are possible, since it will take place in 1956.
But Hollywood will screw this movie up and cast Harrison Ford and Sean Connery in it and nobody will go to see it.

Are they kidding!? Or just bored? Have they really run out of ideas or is it just because of the revenue potential? I find it difficult to comprehend why such great minds would toil in such a mediocre landscape while there are still so many fabulous stories yet to be told. Perhaps it's time to run a national competition for story lines that are submitted to a central 'story repository' from which moderators pass on the ones they think are the best. Get your kids thinking America! Inspire them; give them some meaningful, passionate, uplifting, spirited content…or…is that it? Perhaps this is the very reason why the mass is becoming the media.
And you've just got to love SS's last comment...'We hope it delivers everything you'd expect from our history with Indiana Jones.'
Like he’s a REAL person with a REAL past!

Guess it’s exciting for them. Can’t anyone remember the enormous hype surrounding GL’s Star Wars Episode III and what a complete and utter letdown it was? Not that this next installment of the Indiana franchise will be similar.

This movie has been on and off more times then a strobelight. They better get it right this time, as fans of the series probably won't accept much less than a perfect movie.
