So, if right now it appears that films with women leads aren't doing well then Warner Bros. is somehow obligated to keep making them and losing money?

Well perhaps if they made movies with female leads that were any good and that people might actually want to see, they'd make money.

Warner Brothers couldn't tell a tale
with a lead woman
if their life depended on it.

Beans counters should get out of the production business,
if their product sucks so bad,
and put the blame where it really lies.
