As we reported earlier in the week, the set of "Quantum of Solace," the new James Bond film, had a $250,000 Aston Martin meet its death at the bottom of Lake Garda in Italy.

The driver of the Aston Martin meant for use in the film was unhurt, but the week of the car's plunge has seen three major mishaps that have stopped production temporarily.
Now the Daily Mail reports that a stuntman is in hospital fighting for his life after a third accident in one week on the Italian location of the Bond movie
Crew members have been mumbling to press that the Quantum Of Solace may be a "jinxed" production.
It began last weekend when Brit Fraser Dunn, 29, drove the Aston Martin DBS into the Lake, then just a few hours later a stuntman was injured in another car chase on the winding and narrow roads in the mountainous area of Italy.
The most recent accident occurred with a Greek stuntman, who reportedly has suffered "serious head injuries" after the Alfa Romeo 159 he was driving in a scene crashed into a truck.
The Mail reports that the jaws of life had to extricate the man from the crumpled car by firefighters at the scene of the accident at Limone dell Garda near Brescia.
The paper reports he is listed in "critical condition in hospital with serious head injuries."
Another stunt driver Italian Bruno Verdirosi suffered minor injuries.
Producers have halted production temporarily.
