I hope no body believes that the da vinci code is actually true. God sent Jesus Christ to die in our place so that we could live forever in paradice. I am sad people do beilieve in the book becuase it will get you nowhere and better yet don't read the book!

But the book does not discredit Jesus Christ and/or his place in the Bible. It just suggests that there might be more to his story!

Katie, reminding people it is fiction is fine, but to say don't read it is being a bit silly. After all, it is placed in the Fiction section of the book store.

Katie, you have the right to say what you will, but your statement doesn't have much of an impact when there are multiple spelling mistakes. Obviously, many people enjoy this tale and most likely, will not be discouraged from advising their friends/family/coworkers/etc to read it just because it might make you 'sad.'

Katie, have you read the book?

As rational humans we should be able to rise above the petty notion of religion and that there is a god. With so many religions in the world each claiming to be the 'true' teaching of 'god' you have to wonder if its not just a huge crock of sh!t. If humans are 98% the same as a chimpanze then I'll take my chances that we evolved from apes, not by the wave of some magic man.

Katie, it would see that you are indeed an idiot.

So, katie, what if better yet you were told not to read the bible....then what?

I just finished reading the book a couple days ago and i really enjoyed it. i couldn't put it down. i think it was very interesting and it made me think about things in a different way. i still believe in Jesus and that he died for our sins but i also know that the bible was written by man.
