From Monsters and Critics.com Movies News Tilda Swinton has signed to star in Italian director Luca Guadagnino's "Io sono l'amore" (I Am Love) with Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher. Variety reports Guadagnino ("The Protagonists" and Sony's "Melissa P.") will start shooting the Italian-language film in Milan this summer. The film is co-produced by Guadagnino's First Sun label and Mikado. It is also receiving some financing from the Italian government. The film’s plot is described as a romantic drama following a foreign society matron in Milan who falls for a young chef. In Variety, Guadagnino described the film as "the irreparable consequences brought about by love in a high-bourgeois family." Swinton picked up a Best Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar for her work in 2007’s “Michael Clayton.” She returns to the role of the White Witch in the next Narnia film, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian – which is in post-production. © Copyright 2007 by monstersandcritics.com.
